You must not accept raw ingredients, or any other material used in processing products, if they are known to be, or have a possibility of being, contaminated in such a way that deems the final product unfit for human consumption.

All raw ingredients should be stored in appropriate conditions. These conditions must prevent harmful deterioration and protect from future contamination.

At each stage of production, processing and distribution, you must protect food against any likely contamination that would result in it becoming unfit for human consumption.
