COSHH Requirements

Complying with COSHH involves the following:

• Assessing the risks to health arising from hazardous substances at work and reviewing what precautions are needed
• Preventing or controlling exposure
• Monitoring what control measures are used, maintained, examined and tested
• If necessary – carrying out health surveillance
• Making sure employees are informed, trained and supervised
