Why Do Injuries Occur?
Back injuries generally do not just ‘occur’. Over time, the discs get crushed due to stooping or poor lifting technique (as seen in the image). This can cause the discs to prolapse and split causing extreme pain.
Many of us know the correct way to lift items to protect our spines. However, we don’t always put this into practice. Forgetting to do so puts our backs at unnecessary risk of injury.

Young children perhaps could teach us a lesson, they always use the safe and correct lifting technique as this is the natural way to lift that you develop when growing. They are yet to learn the bad habits that come with adulthood.
